The Collection
Staffed luxury villas in Cabo San Lucas and beyond
The 25 residences above are the whole collection, not a sample. Each one is a private home we know personally: we have met the staff and slept in the beds. Most sit in Los Cabos, from the cliffs of Pedregal to the fairways of Palmilla, with a smaller set across the water in Punta Mita and on the quiet coast near La Paz.
We are a villa rental company, not a listing marketplace. When you book with Luxmex you deal with the team that manages the home, at the same nightly rate the property sets, with no service fee added on top.
Every villa comes staffed, with a private chef
The defining difference between a Luxmex villa and a house you might find on an OTA is the people inside it. Every stay includes a private chef and a dedicated concierge, and most homes carry a full household staff beyond that. Your chef shops the local markets, cooks to your family's tastes and allergies, and handles every dish afterward. Guests routinely tell us they cancelled their restaurant reservations after the first dinner at home.
The concierge starts before you land. Airport transfers, grocery pre-stocking, in-villa massages, fishing charters, tee times, and a taco night for forty are all one message away. Read more about how the model works on our staffed villas and private chef page, or browse the fully staffed rentals in the collection.
Where we host
Palmilla
Palmilla is where our collection is deepest, and for good reason. The gated One&Only enclave sits on one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos, with the Jack Nicklaus course threading between the residences. Villas here tend toward the grand, with full staff quarters and infinity pools aimed at the Sea of Cortez. The beach is a short golf-cart ride downhill.
Villas del Mar
Villas del Mar is the private residential community inside Palmilla, with its own beach club, spa, and fitness pavilion that our guests can access. If you want resort amenities without a resort crowd, this is the address.
Cabo San Lucas & Pedregal
At the peninsula's tip, Cabo San Lucas puts the marina and the nightlife a few minutes from your door. Pedregal, the gated hillside above town, is its quiet counterweight: cliffside villas with Pacific sunsets, reached through a private tunnel from the marina.
San José del Cabo
San José del Cabo keeps the older Baja character. The colonial plaza fills up for the Thursday-night Art Walk, and the pace runs slower than its sister city's. Villas here suit guests who plan to cook a little less and wander a little more.
Puerto Los Cabos
East of San José, Puerto Los Cabos wraps a two-mile beach around a marina and 27 holes of Nicklaus and Norman golf. The community is newer and quieter than the Corridor, with easy access to the East Cape's diving and surf.
The Corridor
The twenty-mile Corridor between the two Cabos holds most of the region's landmark communities. Every villa is a short drive from both towns, and the coastline alternates between surf breaks and protected coves.
Punta Mita
An hour north of Puerto Vallarta on the Riviera Nayarit, Punta Mita trades the desert for jungle greens and warm Pacific water. Our villas sit inside the gated peninsula shared with the Four Seasons and St. Regis, near breaks that welcome first-time surfers.
La Paz & the East Cape
La Paz faces the calm side of the peninsula, where the Sea of Cortez does its best aquarium impression. Guests come out for the whale sharks and Balandra's white-sand coves, then eat chocolate clams a few steps from the boat that brought them in.
When to come
Los Cabos gets around 350 days of sunshine a year, so the real question is what you want to see from the terrace. December through April is high season, dry and in the mid-80s. It is also whale season, when grays and humpbacks calve in the bays, often close enough to watch from the pool over morning coffee. Spring keeps the weather and loses the crowds, which is when repeat guests tend to book.
Summer brings the warmest water of the year. The Sea of Cortez climbs into the 80s, the sportfishing hits its peak ahead of the October tournaments, and villa calendars open up for longer stays. Storms are possible from late August through September, and rates reflect it. The holidays are their own season entirely; Christmas and New Year's weeks in Palmilla and Pedregal are reserved eight to twelve months out, so if a specific home matters to you, that is the booking to make early.
Find the villa that fits
The filters above narrow the collection by dates, area, bedrooms, and amenities, and the pages below gather the villas guests ask for most often:
- Oceanfront villas · the water starts where the terrace ends
- Villas with private pools · nearly every home in the collection, many heated
- Large-group villas · eight bedrooms and up for reunions and retreats
- Pet-friendly rentals · homes where the whole family means the whole family
- Accessible villas · single-level living and step-free entries
- Palmilla villas with a chef · our most requested combination
If you would rather talk it through, tell us your dates, group size, and what a perfect day looks like, and we will shortlist three homes for you. Matching guests to villas is most of what we do all day.
What guests say
Heaven on Earth!
“Beautiful house, meticulously taken care of, with staff on premises all times of day. All meals were cooked and cleaned up by the staff, and the food was top notch. In fact, we cancelled all dining reservations to just stay at the house and eat.”
Steve H.
I always recommend Luxmex
“We stayed at a private villa in Pedregal that was extraordinary. The agents have been very knowledgeable and helpful with our planning and selections, and the staff was amazing. I always recommend Luxmex because of their professionalism and high level of detail.”
Rod Paul
Never disappointed
“Villa Samba has been a terrific home to share with family and friends. We were here for two weeks and never tired of the view. Carlos was responsive to our every need, and the Luxmex masseuses added an extra level of vacation mode.”

Good to know
Cabo Villa Rental Questions, Answered
Are your Cabo villas staffed?+
Every one. A private chef and a dedicated concierge come with each stay, most homes add a butler and household staff beyond that, and housekeeping is daily. The chef plans menus around your table; the concierge handles everything outside the villa.
How does booking direct work?+
The rates and availability on this page come straight from our reservation system, so what you see is bookable now. There is no OTA service fee on top, and you deal with the team that actually manages the home, before, during, and after the stay.
Which area of Cabo should I stay in?+
Cabo San Lucas and Pedregal put the marina and nightlife minutes away. San José del Cabo, with Palmilla and Villas del Mar, is the quieter side, and the Palmilla bay is one of the few truly swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. Puerto Los Cabos wraps villas around a marina and 27 holes of golf. Tell us how your group likes to spend a day and we will point you to the right one.
How many guests can the villas sleep?+
Our Los Cabos homes run from villas for a couple of families up to ten-bedroom estates sleeping twenty or more. Group two villas in the same community for weddings and reunions that outgrow one roof, and ask us about Punta Mita if the party is larger still.
When is the best time to visit Cabo?+
December through April is high season: dry, mid-80s, and whale season, when grays and humpbacks calve close enough to watch from the pool. Summer brings the warmest water and peak sportfishing. Spring keeps the weather and loses the crowds.
How far in advance should I book?+
Christmas and New Year's weeks in Palmilla and Pedregal are reserved eight to twelve months out. For other high-season weeks, a few months ahead still gives you a real choice of homes; shoulder-season stays can come together in weeks.
Do the villas have private pools?+
Nearly every home in the collection has its own pool, many heated, from infinity edges over the sea to plunge pools tucked into the garden. Yours alone for the length of the stay.
