A corporate retreat that feels nothing like a conference hotel
We host teams across private, fully staffed villas in Los Cabos: neighboring homes for everyone, a real workspace with the ocean in the window, and one concierge running the whole week. One contract, one invoice, zero hotel hallways.

Why villas
A hotel books your team into rooms. We give them a place that works.
The value of a retreat is in the hours between the sessions: the working breakfast that runs long, the walk to the next villa, the conversation by the pool that finally settles the thing three meetings could not. A conference floor scatters those moments across elevator banks and a shared bar. Booking neighboring villas keeps the whole team in one place. In Villas del Mar, a cluster of our homes sits inside a single gated Palmilla community, close enough to walk between during the day.
Every Luxmex villa comes staffed. Private chefs cook in each house, housekeeping runs on one schedule, and a single concierge coordinates the week across every roof, so the person who planned the offsite is not also running it. You book direct with the operator, on one agreement and one invoice, and the same team that signed the proposal is the one setting up your meeting room before the first flight lands.

The working villa
A boardroom with the Pacific in the window
We turn a villa great room or a covered terrace into your working space: a large screen, fast Wi-Fi, power where you need it, and a layout built for how your day actually runs. Keynote in the morning, breakouts on the terrace, lunch by the pool, and the strongest thinking of the quarter happening somewhere people are glad to be.
How a retreat flows
Work that gets done, days people remember
Day one
Land, settle, no lobby
Drivers meet every flight and take people straight to their villas. By dinner the team is on one terrace, the chef has plates coming out, and the trip has already started feeling different from a hotel check-in line.
The work days
Sessions in the morning, coast in the afternoon
The strategy sessions happen in a great room set up with a screen and fast Wi-Fi, then break for lunch by the pool. People think more clearly when the offsite actually feels like one.
The offsite day
Get everyone on the water
A yacht afternoon, a sportfishing morning, a dinner out that nobody has to plan. The conversations that turn a team into a team happen here, not in the breakout room.
Departure
One check-out, not thirty
Late breakfast, bags to the cars, one settled invoice. Your coordinator leaves with a team that got real work done and actually wants to do it again next year.
For the organizer
What a Luxmex retreat includes
A room to actually work in
We set up a villa great room or covered terrace as your meeting space with a large screen, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, and power where you need it. Tell us the format, boardroom, breakouts, or a full-team keynote, and it is ready before anyone lands.
One contract, one invoice
Every villa on a single agreement, one deposit schedule, and one clean invoice for finance. Book direct with the operator, no piecing together a dozen hotel confirmations for an expense report, and a named contact your EA or coordinator can reach directly.
Chefs and staff on one schedule
A private chef cooks in each house and housekeeping runs across the collection on one rhythm. Working breakfasts, a catered lunch between sessions, and a team dinner all happen without your coordinator managing a single vendor.
Team experiences, arranged
Yacht charters, sportfishing, a chef's-table dinner, a spa afternoon, a sunset cruise for the whole group. We build the off-hours around your agenda at whatever scale the budget wants, and coordinate the transport between all of it.
Anchor the leadership team
The estates most retreats start with
These are our largest villas by capacity. Most teams put leadership and the main meeting space in one of them, then place everyone else in villas nearby. The planner shows you exactly how near.

The off-hours
The offsite that turns a team into a team
A yacht afternoon on the Sea of Cortez, a sportfishing morning, a chef's-table dinner nobody had to book. The work matters, but the trip people talk about all year is built from the hours around it. We arrange the experiences and the transport between them, coordinated with the villa staff, so your team just shows up.
The Group Stay Planner
Pick the villas. See the distances. Send it to a person.
01
Build your collection
Choose up to eight villas for leadership, the team, and the working space. The map shows the distance between every pair, so you can keep everyone walkable.
02
We shape the proposal
A concierge checks live availability across every villa, holds dates where we can, and returns one coordinated proposal with a single price. One conversation, not eleven.
03
One team runs the week
Meeting room set up, chefs in every kitchen, transport between houses and experiences, and a single named contact from first pickup to final invoice.
Questions
What coordinators ask us first
Can you handle corporate billing and a single invoice?+
Yes. A retreat books on one agreement covering every villa, with one deposit schedule and one invoice for your finance team. You get a named contact your coordinator or EA can reach directly, and we work with outside planners and DMCs as easily as with an in-house organizer.
Is there real meeting space and reliable Wi-Fi?+
Yes. We turn a villa great room or a covered terrace into your working space with a large screen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and power. Share your agenda ahead of time, whether it is a boardroom setup, breakout groups, or a full-team session, and the room is arranged before you arrive.
How large a team can you host across villas?+
Most retreats we host run between 20 and 80 people across three to six neighboring villas, often within a short walk of each other in communities like Villas del Mar in Palmilla. Our largest villas anchor the leadership team, and the collection scales up from there.
How does pricing work for a group buyout?+
Each villa has its own nightly rate, and we quote the whole collection as one proposal so you see the full picture before anyone commits. There is no charge for the planning itself, and we never ask for a card at the inquiry stage.
Can you organize the offsite activities and transport?+
Yes. Yacht afternoons, sportfishing, team dinners, spa mornings, and the professional drivers that connect all of it are scheduled ahead of time and coordinated directly with the villa staff. Your team shows up, everything else is already handled.
How far ahead should we plan a corporate retreat?+
Retreats usually firm up three to six months out, and Cabo works year-round, so there is no single season to plan around. Start with rough dates and a headcount and we will tell you what is realistic and which estates are open.
