Casa Valhalla

Casa Valhalla is the only residence designed by Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao available for guest stays, five levels stepping down a Punta Mita cliff with 180-degree views over Banderas Bay. Six ensuite bedrooms, two kitchens, and a full in-house staff sit inside a landscape of endemic planting and exposed rock, with the sea reachable straight off the heated infinity pool. The house sleeps up to 16 and may be taken as a four, five, or six-bedroom residence depending on the size of your group.

The architecture reads as a series of terraces rather than a single block: rooms open sideways to the water, stairs and an elevator thread the levels, and the line between built space and hillside stays deliberately blurred. Mornings arrive quietly, with coffee on the terrace and the bay flat and silver below. By late afternoon the sunset platform becomes the gathering point, wind rising off the surf break as the light drops behind the point.

Exterior Features

A heated infinity pool runs to the cliff edge with direct private access to the sea, and the villa's own beach sits in the "Windy Tunnel" zone, a favorite of surfers and kite surfers. Surfboards, boogie boards, and paddle boards are kept on hand. Terraces hold indoor-outdoor dining and lounge areas, an outdoor kitchen with grill and wood-fired oven, tropical gardens of endemic vegetation grown into the natural rock, and a dedicated sunset platform above Banderas Bay. Guests also have use of the community tennis court.

Interior Amenities

Six ensuite bedrooms are distributed across the five levels, several with their own plunge pools or soaking tubs, all with air conditioning, room-darkening shades, and direct terrace or balcony access. Two kitchens serve the house, a main kitchen built around a large island, and the outdoor kitchen with its wood-fired oven, feeding both the interior dining room and long alfresco tables. Elsewhere: a private theater room, an indoor-outdoor fitness and yoga room with exercise equipment, a private living room, a hot tub, and an elevator linking every level.

Concierge and Services

The residence comes fully staffed. Your in-house chef prepares breakfast and lunch daily, a dedicated housekeeping team keeps the house throughout your stay, and your concierge handles grocery pre-stocking, private transportation, in-villa spa and wellness, tequila tastings, and custom adventures across the peninsula. Guests receive preferred rates on amenities at the neighboring W Punta de Mita, an easy walk from the front door.
