Great Location

We stayed in a staffed villa and had an incredible time exploring the nearby beaches and mountains. The villa was the perfect home base for our adventures, with luxurious amenities to come back to at the end of the day. The staff were so helpful in organizing our excursions, and the concierge service was fantastic in helping us plan some truly unforgettable experiences, like zip-lining and ATV tours. We highly recommend Villa Maria to anyone looking for an adventure-filled vacation.

Everything about our trip was exceptional. We had first class service from Jeronimo (our concierge) who helped make sure all the pre-planning went smoothly. The margaritas, guacamole and salsa when we arrived were a huge hit. Our chef Jose was excellent. He was so sweet and accommodating and even cooked the fish we caught as a last-minute request. He prepared at three different ways and it was excellent! Our butler, Carlos, was the bomb! So sweet and attentive and willing to help with any request. The housekeeper did an excellent job and was a very sweet girl. The property manager was Johnny on the spot when needed. As for Villa Maria, I'm not sure there are enough words to describe it. The house and grounds are beautiful and the views are to die for! It was so relaxing to sit around the pool from the very beginning of the day to the bitter end. We appreciate LuxMex and everything they had to offer and will definitely utilize their service again! Thank you for making my husband‘s 60th birthday celebration a huge hit!

We came here last minute when our trip to the Bahamas was cancelled. It was such a wonderful trip. Jeronimo got everything set up for us with very little notice - everything from golf and snorkeling excisions to meal service and groceries. Everyone at the villa was amazing. Villa Maria and the staff exceeded our expectations! The house was so warm, beautiful and invitng...perfect for a 50th birthday party! Everything was even better than described in the VRBO listing. Sleeps 12+ very easily and the house is layed out well. Everything was in working order and if we had any requests or concerns, Betty (the house conceirge), was there and ready to help! Incredible Stay

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views and a perfect location. We've stayed at many villas and this was our favorite. Four families and lots of teens yet we still had plenty of room and privacy. What makes the home extra special is the amazing staff that made us feel like we were on a true vacation. The attentive, professional, and kind staff ensured we were well taken care of all day long. A wonderful vacation!

We rented this house for a week for our family vacation, There were 13 of us, children and adults. It could not have been better! The staff was wonderful, especially Antonio and Vicente who made our delicious meals. The kids had a blast in the pools and on the water slide. The views are amazing and the pool area was perfect! The paddle boards came in handy for a short paddle out for snorkeling. I highly recommend this house! We hope to go back again!

10/10 Exceeded our highest expectations

After reading the reviews and seeing the listed pictures, we came to Villa Maria with high expectations. The property and management team, however, were even better than described. The house itself is gorgeous, spacious, and well equipped (speaker system, fire pit, two guest rooms attached but separate from the house). It is located in a safe gated community with access ($10/day) to the neighborhood gym. Josue the chef is not only an incredible cook, but also very accommodating to whatever your schedule and food preferences may be. Ismael the property manager had the house cleaned daily while also giving us a far degree of privacy. 10/10 would book again and recommend to families, young adult friends, and couples alike.

Perfect family vacation

The property looks so great online we were prepared for it to not be quite as good as advertised. On the contrary it is even more spectacular in person! We stayed 6 nights here. From the moment we made contact with the concierge Beatriz she was helpful in fulfilling our requests as well as making suggestions. From restaurant reservations to taxis for 12 people she was spot on. We are three families with adult children and Villa Maria was perfect. We walked to the beach or to town, and some chose to take an uber for the uphill journey back, but it was very doable on foot, especially if you are looking for some exercise. The spa and fitness center are right next door, but were closed during our stay, so you might want to check on that if you are counting on making use of those facilities. Jacklin the housekeeper kept up with the cleaning as well as helped us find whatever we needed. Gabriel the chef created superb meals including cooking up the fish we caught from a boat. The only suggestion I have is bring more cash than you think you need. The cabs are all cash payments, groceries for the chef meals are cash, and for tips at the end. We all LOVED this place and the people who keep it staffed, and are so thankful we chose to spend our Christmas vacation here.

Girls Weekend!!!

We had 10 women celebrating the upcoming marriage of my daughter. The pictures do not do justice to this property! It was perfect in every way. We all talked about it and could not think of anything that could be improved. The entire process was seamless, beginning with communicating with Marilu who is charming and gracious. Ismael, the concierge, helped us along the way with restaurants, a boat charter and even someone to come to the house to administer the COVID tests required to enter the U. S. Eric was a bonus. He kept things tidy and clean and even made coffee, mixed drinks and prepared a charcuterie board for us. Chef Alex was fabulous! There are so many different areas to sit and the view is spectacular from all of them. The experience deserves more than 5 stars!
